Emma is a Women’s Health Physiotherapist originally from Dublin, Ireland, with a strong passion for supporting women through all stages of life, particularly during pregnancy and the postnatal period. Her interest in women’s health began while working as a fitness instructor in a women-only gym, where she saw first-hand how movement, education and confidence-building can support women’s health and wellbeing.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Sports Science and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Since qualifying she has undertaken further specialist training in women’s health physiotherapy, including urinary incontinence, prolapse and Mummy MOT assessment. She is committed to ongoing professional development and continues to expand her knowledge and clinical skills across pelvic health and postnatal rehabilitation.
Emma has a particular interest in postnatal recovery, including pelvic floor rehabilitation, return to exercise and abdominal wall recovery. She also has a keen interest in chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis and enjoys keeping up to date with the latest research and evidence-based approaches within women’s health physiotherapy.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys CrossFit and running and is currently training towards completing an ultramarathon.
