Running clinic
Why a Running Clinic?
Want to boost your running and improve your performance? Whether you are new to running or an experienced runner that may have a few niggles to iron out, attending our running clinic at Mint Wellbeing could be the best decision you make.
If you’ve never had a running assessment, or learnt the correct techniques to prevent injuries and enhance your performance, now’s the time to invest time into you and your running career.
Recurring aches and pain; heavy legs; an injury that doesn’t quite go away; struggling to build endurance and distance; can’t seem to improve your performance – if these sound familiar, a running analysis is the next step.
Why come for a running analysis?
At our state-of-the-art studio in Wimbledon the Running clinic is led by Anita Holmes and Jack Collis; both highly experienced, qualified running Physios.
They help runners of all ages and all abilities to understand where their technique may not be working. Through our comprehensive running assessment and detailed analysis of how you run, we are able to recommend where you may need to change, and provide re-training programmes to get you back on the right track.
Our running analysis includes:
- A complete video analysis of your running technique
- An assessment of your body’s function, strength and mobility using gym equipment and VALD force plates
- An in-depth review of your current training programme
- A full and honest discussion of our findings on your running technique
- Creation of an individualised specific exercise plan, as identified
From here, we are able to teach you running techniques to improve performance and prevent injuries, and advise on a training programme that will help you achieve your goals.
Our running clinics are a great way to understand the way you run, learn the right techniques to get the best performance, and significantly reduce the potential of injury. Whether you just enjoy running for pleasure, are starting out on your running adventure to get fitter and healthier, or are targeting a 5k, 10k or marathon event, book your running analysis today.
Allow 60 minutes for your initial running analysis appointment. Follow up sessions (if needed) are 30 minutes or 60 minutes.
