Running

Runners want to keep running; we get that! If you have an injury we will endeavour to keep you on your feet and in your running shoes as best we can. We don’t make anyone stop running altogether unless it is absolutely necessary.

 

Our team loves running with lunch time runs happening every week, races on the weekends and our clinic Founder Amy even once competed in the 275km Jungle Ultra Marathon in the Amazon Jungle.

 

A typical mistake runners make to improve their speed or distance is to just run more. However, the research doesn’t actually support this! Did you know that if you added in 1 strength session per week you could improve your speed dramatically!

 

Here at Mint Wellbeing we help people recover from classic running overuse injuries like ‘shin splints’ (medial tibial stress syndrome), achilles tendinopathy, runners knee (patella tendinopathy) and a multitude of other running related issues.
